In the past, when someone said the words "Michigan State wedding" to me, it used to be I immediately thought of Sparty and the Alumni Chapel. Those two things went together in my mind like... well, green and white. :) More recently, however, I have come to think of the Kellogg Center in East Lansing as a perfect representation of all things Michigan State wedding. The Kellogg Center offers engaged Spartans the luxury of one-stop shopping. The courtyard garden is the perfect ceremony site, offering a beautiful patio, towering trees and the Red Cedar River flowing just a few steps away. For the ultimate reception space, the Kellogg Center boasts several large event rooms to accommodate the largest of parties. All of this in a very central location, to allow the couple to share their love for Michigan State with every guest.
Kate and John chose the Kellogg Center to host both ceremony and reception. This made everything so easy! Following their beautiful ceremony, which was studded with laughter and a few tears, we did a quick tour of campus. Michigan State is very close to their hearts and we were able to catch some fun photos at their favorite locations. Isn't the Sparty statue everyone's favorite?!
Here are a few selections from the first part of their day! More to come! xo
