I need to finish blogging these winter weddings! Winter is wonderful, but I'm excited to finally be heading full-on into the summer season. Balmy weddings, sweet engagement sessions that stretch into the golden hour... yes, bring it all on! I'm so ready, aren't you? For part one of Angela and Tom's wedding day, head over here. It was a chilly December 31st, but not so bad that we couldn't sneak in some photos with wedding party outside, like Angela wanted. Winter days are some of my favorites for photos! Most people get that sweet, rosy glow to their cheeks and noses... it's just like nature's blush. :) After we braved the weather, it was time to dive into the main event... the PARTY!! And what a party it was. There was a tangible excitement in the air by dinner and things moved perfectly from there. There was just so much fun everywhere... awesome music, flirty New Year's accessories, yummy food and desserts. Angela and Tom are such a warm and sparkly couple, so this celebration couldn't have been more fitting for them. Their friends and family kept the night moving on the dance floor, with those young and old cutting a rug. There was never a slow moment. And before you knew, it was nearing midnight.
Angela and Tom stole outside of the Opera House, into the darkness for a few minutes before the clock struck 12. There was a steady stream of cars up and down Bridge Street and it seemed that the whole world was ready for 2018. So much to look forward to for Angela and Tom! They shared a quick kiss under the clock and headed back inside to their guests, their world, who were waiting for them to get the year started off right. You could just tell, it was sure to be an amazing year.
