I'm so excited to show you part two of Steff and Brett's beautiful wedding day. In case you missed the first part of their post, they got married in a garden ceremony at Kellogg Center on the campus of Michigan State University. So much love and emotion!! You can see that post here.
Following their ceremony, we went around campus for a little tour of their favorite spots. Being avid Spartans, they knew exactly where they wanted to shoot for that perfect MSU feel. We hit Sparty, the Red Cedar and my favorite grove of pines near the stadium.
Afterward, we headed back to Kellogg for their celebration with family and close friends. And what a party it was! First, the perfect decor, courtesy of Emily with All Grand Events. I normally don't gush over decor. I've seen plenty of beautiful room displays in my time as a wedding photographer. But, oh my... this room. It was magical. Emily transformed the space from conference-center corporate to wedding chic. I got into the space before the guests and was able to capture the tables, full of lush florals and sparkly blush and ivory details. Combined with the accent lighting and the soft late-day sun filtering in... it was just breathtaking. My images really don't do it justice.
The celebration that ensued was chock-full of Spartan pride and excited energy. Sparty joined us mid-way through the evening and, as usual, brought his own brand of enthusiasm that caught on like a wildfire. Steff and Brett's guests couldn't keep themselves away from that focal point and Sparty definitely delivered on the promise of keeping the party alive. He always creates extra photo opportunities and keeps the room jamming. I sort of love him. :)
Things continued late into the night, of course. Long after this photographer took her last photo. I sure feel blessed to have captured this sweet couples' special day and will remember this one for a long time. Congrats Steff and Brett... I wish you all the happiness life can give you on your future adventures together!! xo
