an elegantly chic hawk hollow affair

I'm super excited to share this fun little wedding with you!  Sara and AJ wanted something simple but memorable for their ceremony, with a fabulous celebration with friends and family to wrap up the evening.  Sara was an expert planner and that's exactly what they got.  

They chose one of the Lansing area's best wedding and reception combination venues: Hawk Hollow Chapel and Banquet Center.  The chapel is an adorable little space set against thick woods and in close proximity to the reception area overlooking the golf course.  Bridal party and guests can literally walk down the picket-fenced pathways to the celebration after the wedding.  It's just so easy!  Sara was every bit a no-fuss bride and kept things very chic and to the point.  She overlooked nothing, incorporating the neutral hues of the chapel into her color scheme of classic black with soft peach and gold accents.  The palette was understated but formal and offered the perfect pitch for the celebration.
